Bichon Frise Club

If you have developed a liking for Bichon Frises so strong that you cannot imagine your life without one and will use any chance to obtain a puppy, you should visit or contact a Bichon Frise Club and learn something about the breed. There are lots of Bichon breeders in the world, and you can find a reputable and conscientious breeder via a breed club.

The Bichon Frise is a unique pet with a loving and vivacious personalities and cute appearance. These dogs do not show any sign of viciousness and are famous for their tolerant attitude toward strangers and other pets. They love company and enjoy interactions with same-breed dogs. This is a purely home breed, and it is not designed for any service. However, Bichon Frises enjoy open air activities and appreciate daily walks. They love freedom and enjoy spacious yards. Usually, a small or medium-sized yard is required for this breed. A Bichon Frise Club specialist or an experienced breeder can share with you a little bit of information on how to properly handle these dogs.

Bichon Frises are small and puffy little dogs. They measure 9-11 inches high at the shoulder and possess an outstandingly soft and springy (but not crisp) coat. The coat is white, with or without cream, buff or apricot markings. Bichon Frise coat feels very soft and pleasant to the touch. In order to keep the coat in such a state, it must be groomed regularly. Improper or rare grooming may lead to mats and knots, which can be very difficult to deal with. If you have little experience in grooming Bichons, you can visit a Bichon Frise Club and find out how to properly groom your dog.

If you feel like it is high time for you to purchase the dog, please, do not be in a hurry. Take your time and study the breed very carefully to see if you are ready to properly care for your Bichon. No matter how strongly you adore animals, there is always something to worry about. Bichons are a little willful, so training can be a challenge. Are you sure you will have enough time to groom your Bichon or play with him? Are you ready to spend money on veterinary examinations? Indeed, there are lots of issues to take into account, so please, think twice before taking a decision. After buying a puppy, you should stay in touch with the breeder, and it is recommended to participate actively in Bichon Frise Club activities.
